Limbing up trees and removing underbrush to keep fire from entering the tree tops.
Hazard Tree Removals and Alternative Land Clearing
Removing trees near your home eliminates all the pine needles and cones that
accumulate on the roof and in rain gutters.  This is a potential ignition zone for fire brands
(embers) to ignite your home!  In wildfires, embers can easily travel 1/2 mile in the wind
currents and ignite new fires ahead of the main fire starting spot fires.  In order for your
home to survive a wildfire event you have to eliminate potential ignition zones!  Look for
areas around your home where leaves, needles, pine cones, dirt/dust and even snow
accumulate to give you clues as to where these ignition zones can be.  Keep those areas
clean and free of combustible materials!

Alternative landclearing
This lot along the Stillwater River was completely covered with willows and useless for the landowner.  In one day,
we mowed and mulched the entire lot.  Now the landowner can actually utilize and enjoy this property.
